Artists of the Northern Territory, it is your time to SHINE!!!

The Art Competition will be judged as a digital exhibition, however other mediums such as traditional drawings, sculpture or painting may be scanned or created in a digital manner and submitted.

The categories include:

 

1. TROPiCON Mascot Artwork - $250 cash prize. Sponsored by Mad Snake Cafe. Use the TROPiCON mascot NRG and create your own artwork interpretation of the character.

2. Geek Community Artwork - $250 cash prize. Sponsored by Mad Snake Cafe. Work individually or collaborate with other artists and create a piece that celebrates our geek community.

3. Wild North Comics Art Prize - $250 cash prize. Sci-fi, fantasy, manga or superhero, it doesn’t matter! The winners artwork will be the featured on the cover of Wild North Comics next print edition. 

4. Rising Star (Under 12) - Prize TBC. Create an artwork that focuses on all things geek. Only applicable for young artists under 12 years old. 

5. People's Choice Award - Prize TBC. A selection of artworks will be presented at TROPiCON for attendees to vote on throughout the event. The artwork with the most votes by the end of the day will be awarded. Further details to be confirmed.

 

The Geek Culture Collective will be holding an in-person meeting to answer any questions you may have. We will confirm the date in the coming weeks.
